A new hazard is upon us. With the higher temperatures and the rain Thursday, the snow is melting, which is nice. But it is also causing flooding issues around the community. Motorists driving on Woodlawn Road on Thursday night found water across the road in a few places. Yesterday afternoon the low areas of Latham Park were turned to ponds. This morning Mount Pulaski school buses are using their emergency routes because of flooding in rural areas.
