A
manhole in front of Lincoln College's Heritage Hall
began sinking a few weeks ago. The one block section
of Ottawa Street north of Woodlawn Road was closed
on Monday and may remain so for up to a few days.
City of Lincoln
crews made rapid progress beginning work toward
replacing the manhole and a
damaged area of the sewer line.

Monday night? They were out at Eaton Fields beginning
the new season of Lincoln Youth Football League. Coach
and League coordinator, Steve Farris said that the
opening night is “usually one of most exciting days of
the year.”
