Around
town, improvement projects are continuing at various
locations. This week work was underway at Central
School where a new circle driveway is being
constructed for drop-off and pick-up of students.
The driveway will offer a safer experience for
children and will help to eliminate some of the
congestion on the streets around the school. The job
was awarded to local contractor Steve Goodman at
Goodman Contracting. Goodman commented Tuesday that
District 27 Superintendent Kent Froebe and the
school board was good about awarding jobs to local
contractors for work needed at the various schools.
