Friday evening at the Peoria Chiefs
game, Logan County Veterans Assistance
Commission director Dan Benedict was
honored as the Chiefs "Veteran of the
Day." Benedict was acknowledged for his
"23 years of meritorious service in the
Air Force" as well as his roll in at the
local VAC over the last two years,
working hard to serve the needs of our
local veterans.
Benedict received a certificate of
appreciation and enjoyed sharing that
with his wife Julie and two daughters
who attended the game with him.
