Carol Theobald

Carol L. Theobald, 67, of Lincoln died at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday, July 4, 2001, at Maple Ridge Care Centre.

Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 9, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Tim Searby officiating.

Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Williamsville.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Theobald was business manager at Lincolnland and Sharwood Nursing Home in Lincoln for 15 years.

She was born March 20, 1934, in Piatt County to Kenneth and Alice Marvel Lester. She married Kenneth L. Theobald on June 13, 1954, in Lincoln. He died June 24, 1997.

Surviving Mrs. Theobald are her mother, of Lincoln; two sons, Rodney Theobald of Maroa and Kevin (and Debra) Theobald of Lincoln; one granddaughter, Michelle "Mikki" Theobald of Middletown; and one brother, Charles (and Phyllis) Lester of Columbia.

She was also preceded in death by her father and an infant daughter, Rhonda Rae.

She was a member of Lincoln Christian Church and the Yadnus Class of the church.

Raymond Gee

Raymond Gee, 85, of Bullhead City, Ariz., formerly of Mount Pulaski, died Monday, June 18, 2001, in Bullhead City.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 6, at Mount Pulaski Cemetery, Mount Pulaski, with Joe Lucas officiating.

Visitation, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski, will be during the hour before the service on Friday.

Gee owned Gee Farm Supply. He retired in 1979.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was born Jan. 20, 1916, in Vernon, Ky., to Heber and Amelia (Reecer) Gee. He married Verna Centers on Sept. 11, 1941, in Logan County. She preceded him in death. He married Margie Smith in January of 1994 in Bullhead City, Ariz. She also preceded him in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Carol (and John) Coombs of Lincoln and Janet (and Gene) Bowers of Bullhead City, Ariz.; one son, David (and Cheryl) Gee of Mount Pulaski; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one daughter, one son, three brothers and three stepsisters.

He was a member of Mount Pulaski Christian Church and of the American Legion and VFW of Mount Pulaski.

Memorials may be made to Mount Pulaski VFW Post 777 or American Legion Post 447.

Bill Harbarger

Bill Harbarger, 81, of Mount Pulaski died at 6:25 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2001, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 5, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski, with John Robertson officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Harbarger was a retired farmer.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He was born Feb. 1, 1920, in Booty, to Thomas James and Lydia Clark Harbarger. He married Vera Reller in Edinburg on Dec. 25, 1945.

Surviving Harbarger are his wife, of Mount Pulaski; two sons, Dave (and Bobbi) Harbarger of Rochester and Rick (and Vicki) Harbarger of Mount Pulaski; one daughter, Lisa (and Ron) Hopwood of Springfield; four grandchildren; and one sister, Alta Clark of Assumption.

He was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.

He was a member of Mount Pulaski Christian Church, Logan County Farm Bureau, Mount Pulaski American Legion Post 447, Elkhart American Legion Post 616 and Mount Pulaski VFW Post 777.

Memorials may be made to Leukemia Foundation or Mount Pulaski Christian Church.
