The Oasis, Logan
County's senior citizen center, 501 Pulaski St. in Lincoln, is open
weekdays (except holidays) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center is also
open on Friday and Sunday nights for table games. Dominic Dalpoas is
the executive director. Activities are open to all Logan County
senior citizens, regardless of membership.

Potluck
and bingo
Bring a dish to pass or a $3 donation
for Thursday’s potluck lunch featuring an entree of baked ham with
side dishes and desserts. Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m., and
Oasis-sponsored bingo starts at 1 p.m.
Birthday
party
Be sure to join us Monday, Dec. 15, at
1:30 p.m. for the monthly birthday party celebration. There will be
games, entertainment, cake and ice cream.
Think tank speaker
The next featured speaker is Kristi
Powell, Heartland Community College site manager. She will discuss
Project Read. Join us at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, for her
presentation. Reservations are not necessary.
