LINCOLN -- Eleanor A. Huffman, 76, of Lincoln died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005, at 11:24 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Bethel Cemetery, rural Emden, with Tim Searby officiating.

Mrs. Huffman was former owner and operator of The Mill Restaurant in Lincoln.

She was born Aug. 13, 1929, in Lincoln to Ernest and Lula Dugan Morrow. She married George E. Huffman on Feb. 3, 1948, in Henderson, Ky. He died Feb. 6, 1989.

She is survived by one son, Randy (and Virginia) Huffman of Lincoln; one daughter, Cindy (and Joe) Raggi of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Shirley (and Stan) Bruketa of Lincoln and Norma Montrose of Detroit, Mich.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers.

She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 263.

Tabitha-Wynne Newton Hardy

LINCOLN -- Tabitha-Wynne Newton Hardy was stillborn at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria on Oct. 7, 2005 at 2:52 p.m.

A private graveside service will be on Monday at New Union Cemetery in Lincoln, with Pastor Henry M. Johnson officiating.

No visitation is scheduled.

Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Tabitha-Wynne is survived by her mother, Andrea Renee Newton of Lincoln; her father, Jesse Eugene Hardy of Wyoming, Ill.; one sister, Bronwyn-Eileen Jorai Newton of Lincoln; maternal grandmother Georgia Kay Newton of Lincoln; paternal grandparents Helen and George Tiemann of Wyoming, Ill.; maternal great-grandmother Irma Newton of Lincoln; and paternal great-grandmother Mae Byrd of Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather Jesse Eugene Hardy and maternal great-grandfather George Lincoln Newton.

Memorials may be made to OSF St. Francis Medical Center Children's Hospital in Peoria.
