LINCOLN -- Norma E. Morris, 90, of Lincoln went home to
be with the Lord and her husband, Otis, at 8:50 a.m. Friday,
April 21, 2006. Her family was by her side at home.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bennett Funeral
Home, with Pastor Tony Shuff officiating. Visitation will be
from 10 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Richmond Grove Cemetery, New Holland.
Mrs. Morris was a homemaker, raising her four children
and taking care of her beloved husband.
She was born Nov. 1, 1915, in Mount Pulaski to late Oscar
and Ida McCain Shull. She married Otis Morris on Oct. 6,
1935, and they shared 70 years of marriage. He died Feb. 15,
2006.
She is survived by two sons, Ken (and Carole) Morris of
Marquette, Mich., and Wayne (and Nancy) Morris of Lincoln;
two daughters, Shirley (and Jim) Barry of Lincoln and Kay
(and Bob) Bauer of Lincoln; 14 grandchildren; and 15
great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Garland
and Gerald Shull, and her sister, Pauline Brown.
She was a loving woman who never hesitated to help those
who needed it. She raised her family with good values and
taught them about the Lord. Her legacy will live on in the
lives of her children and grandchildren. She will be missed,
but today she and Otis are dancing in the glory of the Lord.
Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Hospice and
will be accepted at the funeral home.

'Ted' Johnson

LINCOLN -- A celebration of life service for Ted Johnson
will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lincoln,
with Pastor Dan Wissmann officiating.
Teddy "Ted" Wayne Johnson, 60, of Lincoln died April 4,
2006, at 12:20 a.m. at his home.
Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Johnson farmed in Logan County and also worked for
Broadwell Township for many years.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army from Oct. 25, 1965,
until Oct. 24, 1971.
He was born June 5, 1945, at Lincoln to Lloyd and
Florence Amberg Johnson.
He is survived by two sisters, Glenda (and Dean) Downing
of Lincoln and Nancy Thompson of Lincoln; treasured friend
Karen Ackerman of Lincoln; two nieces, Sara (and Greg)
Horchem of Lincoln and Jill (and Jerry) Uhrine of Thompson
Station, Tenn.; and four great-nephews, Joshua, Justin and
Jason Horchem and Samuel Uhrine.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
He enjoyed farm life, good friends and neighbors, and
family celebrations. His interests included reading, travel
and hiking.
He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1963.
