Church of God sets fellowship hall dedication Send a link to a friend[August 25, 2007] The Lincoln Church of God, 1415 Fourth St., will have a special dedication service and dinner Sept. 2. During the 10:45 a.m. service, the church fellowship hall will be dedicated in honor of Ruby Taylor. Ruby Taylor died in June at the age of 92. (Obituary) She had faithfully attended the Church of God for many years. Also, she was retired from Lincoln Developmental Center and had lived in Lincoln for much of her life. Due to her love and dedication to the church, the church board agreed in July to name the fellowship hall Taylor Hall. All friends of Ruby Taylor or the Church of God are welcome to attend. If you plan to stay for the dinner, the church asks that you let them know so enough food can be prepared. Please call the church and leave a message by Friday, Aug. 31, at 217-732-8989.
