Our
community has a new centenarian. LaVara Moore, known as
Mrs. Moore to her students, will be 100 years old tomorrow.
On Saturday, there will be a special gathering of
Mrs. Moore's friends and family, as well as former students of
this longtime teacher, at the Knights of Columbus from 2 to 5
p.m.
