A
champion with or without a medal, but it sure feels good to get one.
Nine-year-old Noah Miller, a second-grader at Illini Central School,
beams with pride after competing in the Special Olympics. Noah
won his gold medal in the dribble, pass and shoot competition at the
state level in the individual basketball competition at the ISU
Horton Field House in Normal.
The Torch Run and
Polar Plunge takes place today, and Noah reminds us of what
Special Olympics is all about.
