Monday morning Alderwoman Joni Tibbs, with help from some of the staff from streets and alleys and a member of the Lincoln Fire Department, did a little rearranging in the Lincoln City Council chambers.

At the end of her work, she had managed to switch out some of the desks at the “front” of the room and made a special place for the city treasurer.

Betting its future on digital photography, Kodak discontinued the slide and motion-picture film with a production run last August in which a master sheet nearly a mile long was cut up into more than 20,000 rolls. Photographer Steve McCurry was entrusted with shooting the last roll of Kodachrome film.
