Rachel Morrow, a student at Carroll Catholic School, was the first-grade winner of the Lincoln Fire Department poster contest for Fire Protection Month. Rachel received a ride to school in the fire department's ladder truck on Friday. Her brother Luke kept her company on the way to school. Rachel and her mother baked cupcakes for the firemen on Thursday night to thank them for the ride. Rachel's parents are Greg and Peggy Morrow. To see Rachel's winning poster, click on her picture.
