Robin,
beware, because your brush pile will soon be
moving. Throughout Ward 1 in Lincoln,
similar piles of lawn and landscape waste could
be seen Monday morning as the second round of
citywide waste pickup began. The collection
will continue today in Ward 2, Wednesday in
Ward 3, Thursday in Ward 4, and Friday will wrap up
the event in Ward 5.

You
better know how to wisecrack if you're going to save the world,
Joss Whedon-style.
Whedon, creator of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," its spinoff
"Angel" and other witty TV ensembles such as "Firefly" and
"Dollhouse," applies his own superpower -- playful dialogue and
group camaraderie -- as writer and director of the superhero
mashup "The Avengers."
Thor,
portrayed by Chris Hemsworth, left, and Captain America,
portrayed by Chris Evans, are shown in a scene from "The
Avengers."
