A
giant-sized Abe can work up a giant-sized thirst
when he's on the trail, so the last thing he
wants is a hole is his water barrel. Last week
local craftsman John Sutton was found offering
Abe a hand by repairing the barrel that goes on
Abe's wagon.

PARIS -- The
400-year-old "Beau Sancy," one of the world's oldest and most
storied diamonds in private hands, is up for sale at Sotheby's
auction house. Weighing in at 34.98 carats, the sparkling pear-cut gem is estimated to be worth up to $4 million.
Those who don't have the money to buy the jewel can see it on
display ahead of next month's sale.
Cut from the famous gem mines in the Indian city of Golconda,
the diamond made its way through four royal European families
and once belonged to Queen Marie de Medici of France. Its most
recent owners are the descendants of the last emperor of
Germany.
The gem is currently on display in Paris. It will travel to
London and Zurich before its auctioning in Geneva on May 14.

Nurse frequently during the first few days because the
more often you nurse, the more quickly your matured milk
will come in and the more milk you will produce. During
the early days while your milk production is still
developing, a well-intentioned but misguided relative
might suggest offering formula to your baby “until you
have sufficient milk”. Don’t listen! Milk is produced on
demand, therefore, to make more, you need to nurse your
baby more. The suckling action of your baby tells your
body to make more milk.
