LDN -- Top Stories

Thursday at noon, several gathered in spite of the rain to witness the dedication of Postville Park as a smoke-free environment. The park, which is owned by the city of Lincoln, is just one of several that will now prohibit smoking on park property. Pictured above from the left are Roy Logan of the Lincoln Park District, Mayor Keith Snyder, Marcia Greenslate of the park district, Mallory Sinner of the Logan County Department of Public Health and Ward 2 Alderwoman Kathy Horn.
