Among the
many distinguished guests Saturday at the grand opening of the new Lincoln Heritage
Museum was Mini Abe. Mini Abe, the size of a Ken doll, is an image of our16th
president. He is a marketing tool for the Illinois Tourism Bureau. Last
week he spent a lot of time in Lincoln being photographed by
professional photographer Michael Gowin. Abe visited several area
attractions, a great number of local eateries, a chamber ribbon-cut
and topped off his week in Lincoln by attending the museum opening. Photos
taken of Mini Abe will be used by the state tourism bureau and can also be used
locally.

the clinic's long absence from the area and two years of working to
bring the service back to Logan County, the Elks were
thrilled to welcome 10 families to the Elks Orthopedic
Assessment Clinic at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital on
