It's time to
"Fall Back"
Set your
clocks back one hour this
weekend
Official time change is 2 a.m.
Sunday, November 5th |
|
Today,
we wrap up our "Show us your pink." The
owners, staff, and writers at LDN donned
their pink early in the month with
intentions of being the final picture in
the program. We had no idea that final
picture wouldn't make the paper until
November.
We were overwhelmed by the number of
businesses, organizations, schools, and
individuals who wanted to be a part of
Breast Cancer Awareness. In all, we
published 33 photos that included 354
people, three furbabies, and one pink
cake!
If the Paint the Paper Pink campaign
brought just one person to a better
awareness and understanding of breast
cancer, then it was well worth the
effort of all those who took part. Thank
you to all!
Pictured left to right in front: Angela
Reiners, Karen Hargis and Roy Logan. In
back: Lisa Whitson, Nila Smith, Jim and
Jan Youngquist, Lisa Ramlow and Dee
Vandevender. Not available for the photo
were Curtis Fox, Derek Hurley, and Teena
Lowery.
