At
the Tuesday evening Committee of the
Whole meeting of the Lincoln City
Council, two Lincoln residents were
recognized as the citizens of the week
by Mayor Seth Goodman.
The youth recipient this week was
Paisley Holmes, the daughter of Corey
and Dana Holmes. Paisley was nominated
because she is generous and
kind-hearted. It was particularly noted
that each year, the money she receives
for her birthday is all donated to the
Humane Society of Logan County to assist
in the care of orphan animals.
The adult recipient this week was Chris
Whiteman. The ones nominating Whiteman
noted that he is a selfless person who
is dedicated to his family. He is known
as a great husband, father, and also a
caring friend to many. It was noted that
he recently spent four hours outside
helping to direct traffic at a local
Thanksgiving dinner.
Both Paisley and Chris received
certificates from the city and gift
cards to local businesses.
