Earlier
this week, two times capsules, one from
1953 and one from 2003 were returned to
their designated spots in the soil at
the Lincoln Depot. The first time
capsule was created in 1953 with orders
that it be opened in 2053. The second
capsule was originally buried in 2003
with orders that it be opened in 2153.
Both were removed from their burial
spots during the reconstruction work at
the Lincoln Depot, and have now been
returned to the earth where they will
remain until their designated opening
times.
