								At
the Lincoln City Council’s Committee of the
Whole on Tuesday evening Lincoln aldermen
instructed city attorney John Hoblit to draft
the proper ordinance to adopt a new rate
structure for sewerage billing for Lincoln
residents. The draft of the ordinance will be
reviewed December 11th. As of this week, there
is no effective date attached to the ordinance.
According to work done by Crawford, Murphy, and
Tilly engineers and Lincoln Aldermen Ron
Fleshman, it is estimated that 60 percent of all
residents will pay $35 per month for sewerage
based on average monthly water usage.

LDN will have coverage of the discussions
surrounding this decision in its Thursday
								edition.
