bar and grill located at 421 N. Chicago Street will celebrate its
grand opening on Saturday. Live entertainment on Saturday evening
will be provided by Ryman's Way from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

On
Saturday, April 6th the Mount Pulaski Courthouse will host a
reception to commemorate the anniversary of the death of President
Abraham Lincoln. A model of the funeral hearse that carried Lincoln
to his final resting place in Springfield will be on display for the
month of April. The hearse was created by Eugene Letterly of Mount
Pulaski.
In addition to the hearse, on April 6th there will also be a display
of a collection of pennies dating from 1909 to current day. Guests
will be able to view the pennies and observe the changes to the coin
over the years.
Coffee and cookies will be served between noon and 4 p.m. on
Saturday.
