As
a pre-cursor to this weekend’s Route 66 Garage Sales, the Humane
Society of Logan County opened its doors at the Logan County
Fairground for a preview night on Thursday evening. Guests had the
opportunity to shop for literally thousands of items all donated for
the HSLC fundraiser.
The Route 66 weekend kicks off this morning with a ribbon cut at the
Mill on Route 66 Museum. Then it is garage sales galore throughout
the weekend.
Sales will be located at the Lincoln VFW, Lincoln Postville Park and
dozens of other locations. Maps can be picked up at the VFW, as well
as many other locations throughout town.
