As the end of the 2023
Railer Football season nears, Lincoln Daily News is
offering a three part series “Salute to the Seniors” as
a show of appreciation and support for a remarkable
season of Railer football.
The last game of the regular season will be this coming
Friday evening, and we wish the team all the best of
luck as they continue to vie for a spot in the playoffs.
Many of us will be cheering them on Friday night, and we
look forward to seeing them win that final game.
But, regardless of the outcome, this is a team that we
can be so proud of, due in no small part to 19 young men
and women, all seniors this year, who have given their
heart to the game this season.
The first six of these young people are featured in
today’s edition of Lincoln Daily News, and it is a pure
joy to share with our readers the answers to some of the
questions posed to them for this article.
