This past Saturday, September 7th
was the second annual ROSC Walk 4 Recovery at Scully
Park in Lincoln. The event, while labeled as a walk,
is much more than that. People came together in
Scully Park to share their stories among themselves
and to also hear from three speakers, all of whom
were addicts in recovery.
After two of the three speakers were finished, the
walk took place around the downtown area. Returning
to Scully Park, the group enjoyed a lunch donated by
Memorial Health and prepared by Deep Roots in
Lincoln before hearing from the last speaker of the
day.
