On Tuesday evening, there were so many gathered behind the ribbon for the Spirited Republic 10th anniversary ribbon cut that they could not all be caught on camera. The large group consisted of the owners Bussy & Colleen Roate and Troy Hanger, surrounded by friends, family, staff and patrons and joined by Lincoln Mayor Tracy Welch, Alderman Kevin Bateman, City Clerk Peggy Bateman, City Treasurer Chuck Conzo, fire chief Ty Johnson and the Logan County royalty Miss Logan County Fair Julia Collins, Junior Miss Courtney Cecil and Little Miss Vayda Farmer.

The celebration will continue on Friday evening with an anniversary party featuring live music, craft beers and wine and giveaways. Doors will open at 4 p.m.
