[DEC. 2, 2003]  Melissa Pim, a 5-foot-10 outside hitter from Chatham Glenwood High School, has signed a national letter of intent to play volleyball at Lincoln Christian College.

In 2003, Pim helped her team establish a new school record for the most wins (24) in a season. She was a three-time letter winner and led the team in blocking.

"We are extremely pleased with the signing of Melissa," said LCC coach Kevin Crawford. "She is an outstanding all-round player."

Pim has played club volleyball for the last two years with the Ambush out of Bloomington.

She has attended the LCC volleyball camp for several years and has won many camp awards, such as all-camp team and best hitter.

She is a member of the Chatham Christian Church and is a youth group leader, leader of the praise team and a nursery worker.
