Illini basketball madness

CHAMPAIGN
-- Tipoff for the 2003-04 basketball season officially gets under
way Friday, Oct. 17, when the Fighting Illini men's and women's
basketball players and coaches are introduced at Illini Madness.
Doors to Huff Hall open at 10 p.m., with activities beginning at
10:30 p.m. Practice can officially begin at midnight, when the
Illini will scrimmage for a short time. The event is free of charge.

Season tickets for both Illinois men's
and women's programs are currently on sale. Men's basketball
single-game tickets go on sale at 9 a.m., Oct. 29. Individuals may
order by calling (217) 333-3470 or toll-free (866) ILLINI-1, by
mail, in person at the athletics ticket office at Assembly Hall, or
online at
www.fightingillini.com.
Women's
single-game tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Nov. 5. Individuals may
order by calling (217) 333-3470 or toll-free (866) ILLINI-1, by
mail, or in person at the athletics ticket office at Assembly Hall.
