[SEPT. 18, 2003]  Dan Fulscher, director of the Logan County Emergency Services Disaster Agency, recognized three individuals at Tuesday evening's Logan County Board meeting.

Robert "Bucky" Washam, Dianne Ruff and Terry Storer were all acknowledged for recent completion of state certifications.

Washam, Logan County fire chief since 2001, was recognized for completion of the Professional Development Skills series, known as PDS Certification. This certification is vital for continued leadership and knowledge in the field.

Terry Storer, assistant director of ESDA since December 2000, also completed the PDS Certification. Additionally, Storer was recognized for completion of the Illinois Professional Manager's Certification. Storer continues to serve as a paramedic for the Logan County Paramedic Association and is also a volunteer for the Logan County Rural Fire Department.
