Hampton Inn owners and management were joined by local officials in breaking ground on Monday. The new motel that will located just behind the Cracker Barrel is expected to draw additional guests who are now lost to Bloomington and Springfield. The motel will focus on local tourism as it caters to the motor coach industry. Hampton Inn of Lincoln is expected to be open for business in April 2008.
