These steers all promised to clean up in time for dinner, just as long as they aren't dinner. Frequent rains with little sun have kept livestock areas mud baths and many fields too wet to work. With rain in the forecast five out of the next 10 days, it might be a while before farmers can get back on spring planting schedule.
