The Lincoln Junior High School Jazz Band performed yesterday at Washington-Monroe School. The band, consisting of seventh- and eighth-graders, toured four Lincoln schools yesterday, filling the schools with their excellent musical talents. More pictures in an album in today's Top Stories.

The pink flamingos have come to Lincoln. Homeowners on Tremont Street had a flock of the lawn ornaments out in front of their home this week. The flamingos are making the rounds of area homes to bring awareness of a fundraiser for the LCHS girls soccer team.
