Pictured above are Annie McCray, Ruth Ann Hieronymus, Elaine Ray, Marjorie Hamilton and Charles Hamilton with Mayor Keith Snyder standing behind. On Tuesday, the mayor visited the classrooms of the Logan County Head Start program. He delivered a proclamation declaring April 1 as National Service Day in Lincoln, presented certificates of appreciation to these five helpers, and read a storybook to the children. Head Start and the Foster Grandparent program in Lincoln are both under the administration of the Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois.
