On a beautiful clear and windy day Teena Lowery and Curt Fox of LDN joined Sean Elliott and Tom Ewing and other local media aboard the EAA’s B-17G “Aluminum Overcast” for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to fly in one of World War II’s most vital aircraft.

Public Flights aboard this historic aircraft will be available Friday June 30th through Sunday July 2nd from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport in Springfield at the LRS Aviation Center/LLCC Hangar
