LDN -- Top Stories

The Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Community Health Collaborative hosted its annual Ladies Night Out on Friday night in the Lincoln Center on the campus of Lincoln College. The event, offered free to all women of the community, was very well attended again this year, and featured great food, and excellent guest speakers.

LDN will have further coverage on this event in its Tuesday edition.

On  March 8th, students from the Olympia High School FFA participated in a day of service at the Midwest Food Bank. The ‘Dodge Hunger’ event began with pizza and an information video about the food bank and ended with a Section 9 FFA Dodgeball Tournament. After food and before play, the students helped prepare 370 food boxes that will be distributed to flood victims in the Kankakee area.
