LDN -- Top Stories

Local author Bill Donath recently presented copies of his book "Generosity" to Commander of the American Legion Post 263 Robert Sullivan in Lincoln and Commander of the Cronin Brothers VFW Casey Lore in Lincoln. The book focuses on the Logan County contributions to World War I. The gift was given to the men in honor of the 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day, which first occurred on November 11th, 1918.

Donath will be offering his book at reduced pricing to all veterans during two Veteran's Day events next weekend.

On Sunday, Nov. 11 at 1:30 p.m. Donath will be the guest speaker at the Armistice Day 100th Year celebration at the Lincoln Depot. He will have copies of the book available for purchase afterward.

Then, on Monday, Nov. 12, he will have his book available again during the VFW Veteran's Day Celebration, which starts at 10 a.m.

Both events are free and open to the public.
