Kiwanis speaker, Jack Burke, reviews
Heritage In Flight Museum history
Jack Burke, president of
Heritage In Flight, was the guest speaker at the Aug. 20 monthly meeting
of the Lincoln Kiwanis club. Burke told the audience about how, why and
when Heritage In Flight
started. He showed slides of the various HIF projects, from the building
of the museum to the acquisition of the static display aircraft. He
talked about how the many displays were collected and HIF’s good fortune
in having Myers Industries supply the lighted display cases. The
audience asked questions, mostly about how the donated items are
displayed and if there is room for more donations.
If you would like to have Burke make a
presentation on Heritage In Flight at your service club meeting, just
call the museum, (217) 732-3333.
