Lincoln College was able to
make just six of 15 free throws. Both teams had 24 field goals, and
both teams connected on seven 3-point goals. The winner also posted
a slim edge on the boards, 41-37.
Lincoln College raced to a
37-23 halftime lead by hitting 14 of 32 field goal attempts. The
Lynx were just 10 of 28 the second half, while Southeastern was
making 14 of 30 in the second half.
Rodney Williams led the Lincoln
College attack with 18 points, while Rueben Trotter netted 16 and
pulled down 10 rebounds. Jeff Carlson was also in double figures
with 10. Marvett McDonald and Kelvin Pena each had 20 points for the
winners.
