Logan County Pork
Producers, assisted by the Lincoln FFA chapter, will cook butterfly
pork chops from 5:30 to 7 p.m. In addition to the pork chop
sandwiches, the dinner will include potato chips, cookie and a
drink. The cost is $5 per adult and $3 for children under 12.
Remote-control car
race enthusiasts will want to view the display provided by Darrell
and Lorrie Paige of RJD Hobbies at the Kickapoo Street parking lot
across from Latham Park.
The Land of Lincoln
Antique Tractor & Engine Club will display antique tractors and
engines at Latham Park. Ted Sommers of Golden Harvest Seed in Pekin
will be on hand to exhibit his antique hand tools.
The Logan County Soil
and Water Conservation District will have an informational display
in the park. Bottled water will be for sale in their booth.
