[SEPT. 29, 2003]  GODFREY -- Second-ranked Lewis and Clark shut out the Lincoln College Lynx 4-0 in men's soccer action here Saturday afternoon. The loss drops the Lynx record to 3-6 for the season, while Lewis and Clark improved to 11-1.

"They pretty much controlled the ball throughout the game," Lincoln coach Ben Massena said. "We didn't have many chances. They had 29 shots on goal, and our goalkeeper, Chris Douglas, had a pretty good game with 25 saves. The play of Pat Barrett and Garrett Taylor were bright spots for us."

In their next game Lincoln College will host SWIC on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
