A
Sangamon Street property owner demonstrates his response to the
intended legal actions approved by city of Lincoln aldermen on
Tuesday, Sept. 4.
The owner is
transforming the property from being a retail space to residential
apartments.
Numerous
stop work orders have been posted by the Lincoln building code
officer, Les Last. No building permits have been issued or approved
as city ordinances require.
Mayor Beth Davis said that it is a life-safety issue.
