Good deeds
come in all sizes. Youngsters from the neighborhood worked on
planting flowers at All Veterans Park on Union Street
yesterday. The new flowers look great and are just in time for
visitors to enjoy during the busy weekend.

Aug. 20 file photo shows Wright Egg facilities near Galt, Iowa.
Spokeswomen for Wright Egg Farms and Hillandale Farms, at the heart of a massive
egg recall, said their hens are still laying several million eggs a day. Those
eggs are being sent to facilities where their shells are broken and the contents
pasteurized to rid them of any salmonella. Then they can be sold as liquid eggs
or added to other products. Food processors buy eggs that have been removed from
their shells to make mayonnaise, ice cream, omelet mixes and other products.

Kristen Stewart, starring as Isabella "Bella"
Swan, left, and Taylor Lautner, starring as Jacob Black, are shown
in a scene from "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse." Along with younger
fans, some moms are also looking forward to the last two "Twilight"
movies starting next year, and they're scooping up all sorts of
