In
today's edition, Logan County Sheriff Steve Nichols and former Lincoln
Chief of Police Stuart Erlenbush have submitted an opinion on a recent
one-hour documentary by Discovery ID.
In the show, the
actor portraying Dillen Constant is shown with heavy makeup and appears
to be deranged and sinister.
Erlenbush and
Nichols, who saw this crime scene firsthand and investigated the family members
in search of the killer, say that Dillen was not sinister, but in fact he was a
hero. When he had a chance to escape the Rick Gee home, he instead went
back inside and tried to help his family.
