Dr. Olysav, an orthopedic surgeon with Springfield Clinic, will
conduct the clinic. The clinic is an ideal time to have a child
reviewed for bone and joint development. Children can be seen at the
clinic if they have an uncorrectable deformity; back, knee, leg or
ankle pain; or a back curvature. No medical referral is necessary
for the clinic; however, physicians are welcome to refer patients to
the clinic for a specific reason or second opinion. School nurses
are also welcome to refer children and families to the clinic. To
make an appointment for the clinic, call the
Illinois Elks Children’s
Care office at 1-800-272-0074 anytime between 9 am and 4 pm,
Monday through Friday. There are no charges for any services
performed at the clinic.

plastic lids and rings from the container. Labels may be left on the
containers. The glass recycling program reserves the right to refuse
any glass that does not meet preparation guidelines. FOR SAFETY
REASONS, NO BROKEN GLASS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Collection will be
canceled in case of inclement weather. The Logan County Joint Solid
Waste Agency DOES NOT accept glass at any of its collection sites.

The Victim Impact Panel is a program for offenders of driving under
the influence of alcohol or drugs. The panels are a
nonconfrontational presentation given by victims of DUI crashes who
speak about the impact the DUI crash has had on their lives. The
panel presents an often unheard perspective to DUI offenders. Judges
often include the requirement to attend a VIP as part of a sentence,
in the hopes that offenders will benefit from learning firsthand
about the trauma, physical pain, emotional suffering and
devastation, financial loss, anger and frustration that DUI victims
and family members commonly experience. See more at

Cost is $10
cash or money order required, with 100 percent of the profits
supporting the Safe Ride program.
