The new
banners on display at Latham Park in Lincoln are a
gentle reminder that as a community, we need to be
healthier. According to information on the Healthy
Communities Partnership website, 66 percent of all
Logan County adults are overweight or obese. Logan
County children are also trending in that direction.
The banners serve as a reminder to park goers that
eating healthy and being active is important to all
of us.
