Today
marks the first day of the John Welsh Memorial
Tournament. Lincoln residents can expect
approximately 5,000 visitors in town today and
Sunday. The tournament is an important fundraiser
for the Lincoln Junior High School. In addition, it
is a great income opportunity for local motels,
restaurants and retailers. Beyond that, it is a
wonderful opportunity for us as residents of Lincoln
to show visitors our genuine hospitality. If you go
out today, please be an ambassador for our city.
