afternoon. The Toppers had led early 1-0 on an RBI by
Senior Beau Collier but Okaw Valley took the 2-1 lead in
the fifth inning. Brayden Curry had the only hit for the
Toppers, a double. Michael Lowery (0-1) took the loss,
going 6 innings, allowing one hit and giving up one
earned run. Lowery had 8 strikeouts and hit 2 batters.
The Toppers have their home opener this afternoon at
4:30 pm at Bob Gasaway Field versus Havana. Blake
Collier is scheduled to be on the mound for the Toppers.
