It
happened on Monday evening, and there
was a repeat performance on Tuesday
evening at about the same time. What was
it? Rain. In recent weeks, rain has been
in short supply in Logan County. When it
did fall, it was patchy at best, hitting
some parts of the county and completely
avoiding other areas. On Tuesday
evening, Becky Beggs caught a great
rainbow shot at Elkhart. Look closely.
See that the end of the rainbow appears
to be between the camera and the wooded
area. Perhaps Mother Nature is
confirming what many already believe,
that the Elkhart community, just might
be the pot of gold at the end of the
rainbow!

Lincoln
College has announced that Lady Lynx Volleyball Coach
Mark Tippett has been named as the college's Sports
Information Director. Tippett has been coaching the
women's team at LC since 2001. Since that time he has
been responsible for submitting news releases related to
the program to local media. This past school year, he
also contributed items to Lincoln Daily News on several
other sport related programs. Providing public
information concerning the entire athletics department
will now be a standard part of Tippetts job description.
