Illinois American Water (IAW) Lincoln Operations
Superintendent Gabe Bowden offered a briefing on
the current water supply situation in Lincoln.
The IAW south treatment plant suffered
significant damage on Sunday evening from a
lightning strike during a storm. The damage
caused a loss of water pressure throughout the
city and prompted city officials to activate
emergency plans for the safety and well being of
the community.
