This
sign in front of Small Town Creations was to the point, "OPEN’...
enough said." Yes, several of our small businesses opened their doors
for the first time in months on Friday. The state is now moving into
phase three of the coronavirus recovery plan. For those businesses,
it didn't come one moment too soon as the financial and emotional
stress of not doing business has made this a long and hard row to
hoe. At the same time, some are still concerned about the safety of
their staff, customers and themselves. Face masks are required in
all stores and many store owners have signs posted on their front
doors asking that customers respect that order. There are also
limitations on how many people may shop in a store. That, too, is
for public safety.
